Position Control Level Description
Mount High On top of opponent's torso with knees on the ground.
Back Control Very High Behind opponent, chest to back with hooks in (heels hooked across groin).
Side Control Medium-High Top position, chest to chest beside opponent, making a "T".
Closed Guard Medium Bottom position with legs wrapped around opponent.
Half Guard Low-Medium Bottom or top position with one of opponent’s legs controlled.
North-South Medium Top position with chest over opponent’s head.
Turtle None Balled up on all fours.
